We stayed in the separate flat with two bedrooms and kitchenette at the edge of the property. Nestled among the vineyards it was very quiet. It was high summer, but the airconditioning worked well and the house was cool and fresh. We really enjoyed the large pool available to all the guests. Domaine de Paguy is a working farm producing Floc and Bas-Armagnac of great repute, and the warm and friendly owners offered us a tasting and a detailed explanation of the armagnac distillation and maturation process. The cellar is underneath the manor house. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and bright accommodation set in tranquil grounds. Nice conversion and very clean. Outiside sitting space with 2 lemon trees. Sitting room and kitchen downstairs (with toilet) and bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Facilities were excellent with a dish washer, washing machine etc. Host was exceptional, very friendly, and helpful. Just outside the chateau was an excellent restaurant with outstanding food. Also a very well stocked deli with some great local produce and a lovely boulangerie.

This is an historic, grand family home and not a hotel. You are surrounded and reminded of the families history in every room and the generations that have lived there. photographs, mementos, the grand and the homely. We were lucky to experience a beautiful home cooked , 4 course dinner on our last evening and taste Phillipe’s own produced Armagnac. During your whole stay you are made to feel like a totally welcome guest in their home. The extensive gardens and grounds are a lovely place to walk and just sit. Seated directly opposite the main village square of Labastide d Armagnac, you’ll find a village steeped in its own history since 1291 .
