Kirinda Heaven - Yala, a property with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, is set in Kirinda, 700 metres from Kirinda Beach, less than 1 km from Nidangala Beach, as well as 14 km from Tissa Wewa. I stayed one night at Kirinda Heaven. It’s a beautiful, family run property. The property is fairly new so all of the accommodations are modern. It also has a stand alone bungalow room, which I stayed in, which is like having one’s own little home! There is a beautiful pool on the property as well. The family that runs the property is great and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

With garden views, MENAKA HOMESTAY is located in Tangalle and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, picnic area and barbecue. I really felt at home here! The hosts went out of their way to care for me, welcoming me with a fresh smoothie and continuing to shower me with fresh fruit and snacks during my stay. Delicious food clearly made with love. The accommodations are clean and comfortable- AC room with fan, en-suite bathroom, mini fridge, etc. the highlight of my stay however was definitely the exceptional service and treatment from the hosts. Highly recommend booking here for a homey stay a stone’s throw from the beautiful Tangalle beach!

Featuring a terrace with garden views, a private beach area and a garden, Tanzanite place can be found in Tangalle, close to Goyambokka Beach and a 12-minute walk from Unakuruwa Beach. In my opinion, this is the best place you can stay in Tangalle. It is located a little bit outside the center so calmer but still close enough so that within 5 minutes, you are in town if you wish to. Two of the most beautiful beaches of the area (Silent Beach and Goyambokka Beach) are within walking distance. The place itself is absolutely great. It's a beautiful house with the hosts living on ground floor and the rooms/apartments on 2nd and 3rd floor. They are very spacious and equipped with everything you need, both for a short vacation or for a longer term stay. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses have standard US/European length, so your feet won't stick out. The AC works properly and in addition there is a fan. The WiFi is perfectly stable and fast enough even for video calls. The bathroom is clean and designed in such a way so that you can take a shower without the entire floor being wet for hours. The host and his family are very friendly and welcoming. His English is very good which makes communication easy, and he replies very quickly. They offer food at their place and rent out scooters. Given the price all of this is offered to us as guests, this place definitely deserves a 10 star review. I have already recommended coming here to friends and am certain you will be happy staying here either.

Located within 1 km of Paravi Wella Beach and 2.1 km of Marakkalagoda Beach in Tangalle, Villa Don Bastian offers accommodation with seating area. Very nice and beautiful house, with special details and perfect environment. The beach is only 2mins from the house. Sanu was an amazing host, always helping us with really helpful recommendations regarding restaurants, transports, spots to visit.. and the breakfast super tasty and authentic!

Featuring sea views, AMOUR AT TURTLE BEACH is located in the Tangalle Beach district of Tangalle, 23 km from Hummanaya Blow Hole and 20 metres from Rekawa Lagoon. This is a lovely place close to the beach with a great owner. I arranged on a very short notice a trip with the owner to Ella, Safari and several other sightseeing spots in Sri Lanka. Dan, the owner, is truly special and very kind and gives you awesome tips for your vacation stay.

Located within a few steps of Tangalle Beach and less than 1 km of Paravi Wella Beach in Tangalle, Luaya Beach offers accommodation with seating area. Located 2min walk from the beach, and 10min walk from the city center, this place is great. The room is very confortable and clean, fridge, hot shower, great AC (sometimes I even felt cold haha). The staff is super kind, they helped us with everything we needed. You can feel how much they care about the guests. But wait for the best: the sri lankan breakfast! It was a feast! The best way to start a day.

Set in Tangalle within 15 km of Hummanaya Blow Hole and 6 km of Tangalle Lagoon, Turtle Watch Cabana provides rooms with free WiFi. All of the cabins had air conditioning which we were super happy about and the included breakfast was wonderful including a mountain of fruit in addition to other wonderful items that changed daily! The optional dinner for 2500 was equally delicious a with big portions. There are also a few great restraints/bars within an easy walk. Probably for many the highlight will be watching the turtles, the host knows exactly where they are and then are laying eggs due to his network of turtle watchers!

Offering a private beach area, Green Turtle is located on Rekewa Beach, 12 km from Tangalle. 1 minute from turtle watch rekawa information center. Amazing cozy quiet hotel 5 min walk from really nice beach. Extremely nice personal and service.

Featuring a private beach area and views of mountain, Cinnabar Resort is a recently renovated guest house set in Tangalle, a few steps from Tangalle Beach. Just a super cool unique experience. We got lucky and got upgraded to the treehouse and the views and experience of walking along the wooden handmade walkways was super cool. The food was good and the eating area was very unique and right on the beach. It rained a bit but having the elevated room made up for it.

Offering a terrace and views of the garden, Little Sunshine Guest House & Restaurant is set in Tangalle in the Hambantota District Region, a 5-minute walk to the Marakolliya Beach. Loved that everything was clean, and felt very welcome. The hosts were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed! One of the nicest stays we’ve had in Sri Lanka.
