Harbourside Apartment is located in Whitehaven, just 18 miles from Wasdale and 18 miles from Muncaster Castle. With quiet street views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The spaciousness of the apartment was amazing. It was handy to all amenities and well placed to see the local attractions. There were many unexpected extras such as a spare phone charger, a CD collection and player, a library including local history books and the kitchen fridge and freezer were a great size. The whole kitchen area was really well appointed. The bathrooms were also spacious and the whole apartment was very clean. The views of the harbour and surrounds were lovely and there was always something interesting to see. Restaurants were all within walking distance, and despite their close proximity there were no noise issues. Parking was secure and easy to get in and out of. Would certainly stay here again.

Croft Hill Guest House enjoys a location in Whitehaven, 19 miles from Wasdale and 19 miles from Muncaster Castle. Croft Hill Guest House is AMAZING and I could not recommend it more. The room is clean, light, big and comfortable. The House is well located, with a great parking and garden. But what makes this experience memorable is the people. The owners Andrew and Joanna are welcoming and helpful, checking in with us every morning and giving us great tips on where to go in the Lakes. The staff is warm and lovely, greeting us every morning with a huge smile. We cannot recommend this place enough and hope to be back soon!

The Ship Inn provides beachfront accommodations in Bardsea. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, full-day security, and luggage storage space, along with free Wifi throughout the... Katie and staff and locals very friendly. Lovely large clean room and lovely breakfast. Booked evening meal on first night which was also very good. Great base to explore from and nice and quiet location for a good night's sleep. Would highly recommended.
