El Gwango Heritage Resort se encuentra en Dete, a 3,9 km del The Teak (Hwange Safari Lodge) y a 7 km del centro de conservación de perros pintados, y ofrece restaurante, bar, jardín y wifi gratis. The whole structure is super nice, with information about the area and the culture. All areas are lovely decorated. There is also a reconstruction of a local village that can be seen. The room is large and clean, the bathroom huge and we had elephants visiting the garden in the morning. The restaurant is also good.

From the moment we climbed into the safari jeep to head to the the resort, to the welcoming staff, incredible safari experiences with Marco, delicious food by Chef Conrad, comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms, dining with the elephants, and campfire chats, we were in Zimbabwe heaven!

Loved everything, the staff were amazing . They made us feel really welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay. The views were Amazing overlooking the park and seeing wild animals. There were activities for families with children and a clean pool. Great bar on site and Evening Entertainment .
