With picturesque views of the River Göta, a Jacuzzi and a variety of leisure facilities, this Vänersborg hotel is found close to Lake Vänern. breakfast was fair but not great. location was very pretty but it is in a location where there is a migrant center. lots of people floating around. did not feel like the place was very professionally run.

Clarion Collection Hotel Kung Oscar is a charming hotel located in a calm area of Trollhättan near the railway station, Göta Älv and waterfalls. A light evening buffet is included for guests. This hotel is situated in the center of Trollhättan in a calm neighborhood. Hotel is in hygge style, which truly amazed me! Breakfast was in for of exceptional Swedish tables. I am looking forward to come back again!

I think it should be illegal to enter the hotel room without talking to Ulrika first! The history of the place has to be appreceated, so you will turn the blind eye for some very tiny drawbacks. Best location, close to amazing nature walks in the area. Hey, there is Trollhättan's own Trolltunga! Beside all the other "normal" choices for breakfast, one can try some interesting home-made marmelades. Comfy bed - double with 2 blankets. Small walk-in closet and fridge, if you need it. Very clean and fresh bathroom. Tips for girls: bring your own hair conditioner. There is tea/coffee room opposite to the reception where you can have a coffee break any time with some home baked goodies.
