What a beautiful place to stay. All the craftsmanship in the house is lovely to see and experience through the story's of the great hosts Jen and Dewi. They where very welcoming. The room was really nice tidy and clean, also the bathroom. We joined for diner with another guest and Jen and Dewi. This was really nice and relaxing. Great food and vibe all evening, with lovley conversations about similarities and differences between Dutch and Kiwi culture/life. We really enjoyed our stay and should actually stayed 2 or 3 nights. To explore the area a bit more. It is really a nice get a way place, we loved it! We will be back some day

Nice & clean, very friendly hosts & overall a great place to stay for the night. Loved that they had nice bathroom products as I forgot my personal ones & didn't have to use cheap single packets like other places. Also my daughter loved feeding the baby lambs in the morning!

Host was super nice. She had made homemade bread, cupcakes for the kids for christmas. The location in the farm was awesome. Feeding the sheep by the kids were a bonus. Loved it.

Matamata Central Motel is a 20-minute drive from the Hobbiton Movie Set & Farm Tours, where parts of the Lord of the Rings trilogy were being filmed. Beautiful motel, super clean and comfortable. Great location.

Entire house was super clean, cosy and comfortable.The breakfast had many options and we loved it, especially those cookies.So thoughtful of you to keep ready to noodles packets, pasta ans fruit tins.Loved the experience.
