Beachcomber Lodge & Backpacker offers accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi, and is set in Kaitaia. Extremely friendly and forthcoming reception. Were put in a 4-bed room (only the two of us!), although 6-bed booked. Cool concept the rooms facing the little garden - feels cosy. Mattress and pillow so comfy! Rarely slept so well. Air fan in room. Kitchen has everything you need. Easy to clean. Common food area from former guests. Labels to tag your food. Showers and toilets good. In front of toilets big, deep, long sink which was quite convenient for us. Tabel tennis with balls, rackets and net. So nice, every accommodation should have it. There was also Billard and a chill out area. Parking. Cute cat.

Huriana Place is situated in Kaitaia. The property has garden views. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Host is good. Cleaning, bed, carpet furniture all good. We got all what we needed for 1 night stay.

Located in the centre of Kaitaia Town, Kauri Lodge Motel is across the Kaitaia Information Centre, and a 10-minute drive from the Kaitaia Airport. I always stay here, the Motel is quiet and the staff are happy to help.

Located in Kaitaia in the Northland region, Breathe Inn features a patio and mountain views. Loved the whole experience of being on a charming and serene property. Loved being surrounded by the beautiful trees and river and the feeling of privacy. The unit offered all that was needed and even a lovely fire pit for cosy nights. Host was very welcoming and thoughtful touches of little blankets etc.
