El Ekkerøy Holidayhouse es un establecimiento ecológico con vistas al Varangerfjord y se encuentra en la península de Ekkerøy. Lovely property near the Kittiwake colony and situated perfectly between all the great birding areas in Varanger - it's just a short drive to the airport, Vadsø, Vardø, and Kiberg. We had the eagle house and it was absolutely amazing with views from the living room over the Kittiwakes and the ocean. There is free parking and a great hiking path just behind the house. The house is very well equipped and perfect for cooking meals, making coffee, laundry, etc. Beds are comfy, the curtains are blackout for long summer nights and the area is so quiet (except for the birds of course, but it's wonderful to hear them all day!) The host was incredibly friendly and provided us with lots of great advice about the area. Highly recommend staying here, it's one of our favorite stays of all time!

Los huéspedes no pueden perderse la pesca del cangrejo durante su estancia en el Scandic Vadsø. Excellent breakfast and typical of Scandic quality. Mostly the person behind the desk was delightful, personable, helpful and great. Also we got to try out the kicksled (sparks) in the neighborhood that evening which was a memorable and fun experience and so easy because it was right there. Also very helpful is the free parking right by the hotel. Hurrah!
