From the minute our hostess Linda picked us up at the airport, we were made to feel like family. Our thatched-roof house was charming, perfectly appointed and with a view of the beach. The cottage is self-catering and has everything you may need. The pool was welcome for cooling off, and we loved watching the sea and the dhows from our porch while listening to the rustling of the palm trees. Linda was gracious and accommodating in all ways, all you have to do is ask. Forgot bug repellent? She provides! Bottle store closed because of a holiday? Wine magically appears in your fridge! Want info on local restaurants? She’ll give you a menu and call ahead to place your order! Anything you may need, it will be done, efficiently and with a smile.

We love all the staff, very attentive and polite. We received pampering, gifts, and lots of warmth. Clean house, on the beach, beautiful scenery...we simply loved it.

Clean rooms, very kind staff, fantastic breakfast, delicious restaurant for dinner and perfect location (direct door to the beach and sea views all time), swimming pool and shower for take out the sand. They can also help with tourism recommendations (boat trips to islands, etc.). Very recommended. They made us feel like home.

Upon arrival at the airport there was someone waiting for us to bring to the villa. Although there had just been a cyclone (and the property was also hit by this violence of nature) we were compensated above expectations. Great management of the Bahia Mar family and people that will stay in the apartment I would definitely recommend multiple massages at the SPA (they are the best!)

The staff were amazing and helpful. Rebecca really was first class and was there with information whenever we needed help. The bar staff and food were excellent with a nice "features" board. It is just a beautiful place on a beautiful beach. I miss it already
