A very nice lady, speaks English. The place got its own parking. A big advantage when you are with the luggage and kids. Walkable distance to restaurants and attractions. Really quite at night (THE most important for me).

Beautiful place to have our first two nights at Shangri-la. Location is wonderful, right besides the old town yet just a few metres away from taxi pick up. Comfortable bed, clean toilet, hot shower, nice restaurant where we had breakfast, and lovely staff who assisted us in every of our request, including helping us to pay for the taxi fare while we figuring out how to use WeChat to pay.

Beautiful hotel overlooking entire shangri la ancient city. Staff service is exceptional, especially Lhamo, Daisy Zhao and Dragon! They are very helpful and friendly and shared some tips about where to go, and gave free upgrade of my room (birthday treat). The room is very comfortable, and able to request for firmer pillows.

Yi's Hostel is located in Shangri-La, close to Dafo Temple. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Yi's Hostel is a 10-minute walk from Guishan Park and Moonlight Square. Staff at Yi's Hostel were so amazing! When we had a flight cancellation, Kunga went above and beyond to help us solve the problem. All of the brothers gave us great advice on activities and snacks and taught us more about the history of the area. We would love to stay here again. Also the heated blankets were perfect for the cold nights.

The local breakfast was delicious and filling and cheap. The owner of the hotel went out of her way to help us. She rang drivers to find us transport. She rang hotels for us. Any problems or questions she has, she helped us find solutions. She was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful too. There are so many beautiful authentic features. We had an electric fire in our room which was lovely in the cool mornings.

Housed in a Tibetan-style building, Timeless Inn is located in Shangri-La Old Town. It offers free Wi-Fi in all areas, bicycle rentals and free usage of computers at the public areas. Great hospitality, friendly staff.
