Tucked away in the fabled Shangri-La, Courtyard Shangri-la 藏舍小院 is a peaceful setting featuring cozy guestrooms of Tibetan touches. Overall, it was nice. room was very clean and comfortable. bathroom was clean. Staff was very pleasant. They suggested a short hike for me to do and I had a wonderful view of the city in morning, because of the hike they suggested. Location was good, close to restaurants and great for walking. They also had a clothes washing machine on site and a place to dry clothes. Nice stay. :)

The best place to know the city of Shangri-la. The Jun family and staff are very kind and easy to get information about the city. The hostel is lovely and very comfortable. The shower is great, very warm for the cold days and always being clean. The night can sit around the wood stove, have tea and make new friends. Also has a diverse kitchen, I ordered some dishes with friends and it was all delicious! The location is also perfect, I did everything by walking.

Located in Shangri-La, Hotel Indigo Diqing Moonlight City, an IHG Hotel features a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Beautiful hotel overlooking entire shangri la ancient city. Staff service is exceptional, especially Lhamo, Daisy Zhao and Dragon! They are very helpful and friendly and shared some tips about where to go, and gave free upgrade of my room (birthday treat). The room is very comfortable, and able to request for firmer pillows.

Yi's Hostel is located in Shangri-La, close to Dafo Temple. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Yi's Hostel is a 10-minute walk from Guishan Park and Moonlight Square. Staff at Yi's Hostel were so amazing! When we had a flight cancellation, Kunga went above and beyond to help us solve the problem. All of the brothers gave us great advice on activities and snacks and taught us more about the history of the area. We would love to stay here again. Also the heated blankets were perfect for the cold nights.

Housed in a Tibetan-style building, Timeless Inn is located in Shangri-La Old Town. It offers free Wi-Fi in all areas, bicycle rentals and free usage of computers at the public areas. A very cozy Inn, perfectly located in the old town, a beautifully decorated room in traditional style and a fantastic host Rose who treated us to tea and snacks upon arrival and gave us many excellent recommendations for our visit. Recommend the Timeless Inn to everyone!
