The owner made our stay really comfortable. A very nice lady, speaks English. The place got its own parking. A big advantage when you are with the luggage and kids. The best place to know the city of Shangri-la. The Jun family and staff are very kind and easy to get information about the city. The hostel is lovely and very comfortable. The shower is great, very warm for the cold days and always being clean. The night can sit around the wood stove, have tea and make new friends. Also has a diverse kitchen, I ordered some dishes with friends and it was all delicious! The location is also perfect, I did everything by walking.

Beautiful place to have our first two nights at Shangri-la. Location is wonderful, right besides the old town yet just a few metres away from taxi pick up. Comfortable bed, clean toilet, hot shower, nice restaurant where we had breakfast, and lovely staff who assisted us in every of our request, including helping us to pay for the taxi fare while we figuring out how to use WeChat to pay.

Staff at Yi's Hostel were so amazing! When we had a flight cancellation, Kunga went above and beyond to help us solve the problem. All of the brothers gave us great advice on activities and snacks and taught us more about the history of the area. We would love to stay here again. Also the heated blankets were perfect for the cold nights.

The local breakfast was delicious and filling and cheap. The owner of the hotel went out of her way to help us. She rang drivers to find us transport. She rang hotels for us. Any problems or questions she has, she helped us find solutions. She was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful too. There are so many beautiful authentic features. We had an electric fire in our room which was lovely in the cool mornings.
