The property is like an oasis in the middle of the desert - literally! We booked for 2 nights at this hotel while in Alice Springs however it quickly turned into 4 nights :) The staff were wonderful in letting us add nights on (maybe we were lucky it wasn’t high season for travellers yet). All staff around the hotel were lovely, helpful and friendly. Nice pool area, good restaurants and a very good breakfast! We stayed in a room with a mountain view and it was fabulous and clean and the mesh between the doors as an option to have the doors open but to still keep the bugs out WERE LIFE SAVERS and every hotel should have one haha!

The helpfulness of the crew was extraordinary. The 2 storey building has upper a large terrace, but the ground level has a beautiful little garden ! Kitchen: perfectry equipped. Each unit has its washing machine. Parking: at your door. Moreover there is a little pool in the middle of garden. If you arrive late in the evening, a code- key and a very detailed map welcomes you, so you can take your room very easy.

Situated on the banks of the Todd River, Mercure Alice Springs Resort offers modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, just 5 minutes’ walk from Alice Springs' town centre. I have stayed here before and that is why I chose to stay here again. The staff are really pleasant and helpful and go out of their way to give excellent service. The pool water and area are rally clean. The food in the restaurant is better than anywhere else I have stayed at! parking is easy and secure at night. This is one of my all time favourite hotels in Australia.
