Situated in Nelly Bay, just 50 metres from the beach, Island Leisure Resort offers self-contained bungalows with a flat-screen TV. The property also features a swimming pool and tennis court. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions and also spoke to me showing an interest in my holiday experience overall. For example, one staff member told me more information about Ravenswood from her own personal understanding of this gold mining town. We loved the pool because it was clean and a great swimming experience. I loved how the spa is a shallow part of the pool rather than a heated exclusive area. The Polynesian style accommodation was the size of a two bedroom unit and it was easy to keep clean. It also had kitchen facilities. It was just what we wanted. We were located walking distance from the beach and a grocery store. The boys loved the games room. We played pool a couple of times and tennis.

Selina Magnetic Island showcases open-air building designs and communal spaces for guests. The social area and bar are set up well: open yet inviting. The design and layout look similar to many of the other Selina locations throughout the world.

This apartment overlooks the water and is very close to the ferry, bus and supermarket. The apartment itself has stylish, modern decore and very comfortable beds. There is plenty of space, a huge balcony overlooking the pool. It was relaxing and very comfortable. Fully self contained with all your kitchen cooking essentials. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would 100 per cent recommend this. I did not want to leave and am already trying to plan another trip back there. Set amongst tranquil Balinese gardens, Shambhala Retreat Magnetic Island Cottages is situated in Nelly Bay, just 600 metres from the beach. Guests enjoy the saltwater outdoor swimming pool. This self contained bungalow was more than we had hoped for. It was comfortable, well equipped for self caterers on a longer stay and in a beaut spot; short distance to shops (and the best Thai I have ever had) and the only noise is the birds in the garden. Exactly what we hoped for!
