Spacious luxury
Hotel is very new and staff are all professional. I had one request to have my pillow changed the second morning and it was actually met the evening we got back. The room was very spacious and clean, and room service was prompt without being intrusive. The only thing is location could have been more central but given that it is actually near quite a number of interesting sites such as Shengji New Village and the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts as well as the Cultural Centre, it is well worth the money.

Location is great, essential facilities are good. Room is small but it's definitely good enough for simple stay. A luxurious back packer's accommodation with private toilet. Price is affordable.
This guesthouse is special: It´s an artist place, with ceramic-exhibition and the chance to become creative yourself by joining at the pottery-workshop belonging to the guesthouse´s owner. Enjoy a healthy breafast with self-made bread and curd, fruits. There is also a tea-table for GonFuCha-lovers, and the restaurant offers a nice view over the garden and mountains. Great breakfast buffet, spacious, clean and quite corner room, and excellent service! The room set-up is thoughtful and comfortable with a couch, a sofa, and a functional desk. The room's coffee and tea service is excellent and the air-conditioning is quiet. Hung's Mansion is also convenient to the National Freeway, bus stations, and many amenities. We stayed at Hung's Mansion each time we visited family in Taichung as the hotel is very close to our family homes.
Room size and bed is very large. Standard double room actually has a king size bed with luxury bedding. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.
It is definitely a unique experience staying here, as it was built as a retreat for Chiang Kai Shek and includes a small museum. The location is great for visiting national parks (by car or bike).
considered as the most luxurious hotel stay for the money and also it being near to Taichung station. this place is near a few tourist attractions and counter staff was also helpful and polite
