We loved staying at Abacatus Farmhouse. The pool was great. It was easy to find using google maps, a short drive into Tavira, and to Tavira Island. Our suite had everything we needed, very comfortable. Sani is an excellent host who provided a delicious breakfast and was very helpful with everything we needed.

Everything was so clean and beautiful! Owner is very kind. We could park a car right in front of house.

The house we had was great both in terms of the house itself and the beautiful private pool, but also in terms of the quality and tasteful furnishings. It had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday, including great mattresses, towels, cleaning supplies etc. And the common areas were also lovely, with a kids playground, bbq, and complementary beer. We were only sorry we could not stay longer. Definitely recommend.

Every aspect was carefully crafted to not only look aesthetically pleasing but also to create an atmosphere that enveloped us in coziness, tranquility, and pure relaxation. Remarkably, it was the first time my girlfriend hesitated to leave for sightseeing or other activities because, in her words, "the place is simply perfect." With a breathtaking view over the Algarve, the cottages felt like a magical haven, secluded from the surrounding world, resembling a cozy, tiny village. It was perfection in every sense. And if that wasn't enough, our host Laurent and his team elevated our stay to unforgettable heights. Beyond providing invaluable advice on places to see, Laurent curated a detailed list of restaurants, complete with addresses, phone numbers, and even Google locations. We explored many of these recommendations, and each one exceeded our expectations. Our hearts were undoubtedly captured by this place and the exceptional team that orchestrates its magic. A heartfelt thank you for creating an experience that will forever hold a special place in our memories.

Ancão Gardens is a private residential area located in the beautiful Ancão Village Resort, offering 13 luxurious villas for holiday rentals. There are 12 three-bedroom villas, each equipped with modern amenities and access to a shared pool. In addition, there is one four-bedroom villa with a private pool for guests who seek a more exclusive experience. This is a perfect spot for a family who is looking to be away from the busy tourist spots but still close to the beach and sightseeing destinations. Tucked away on a private street, the townhomes are multi level buildings, thereby giving teenagers, parents and grandparents enough privacy yet plenty of space also to be together. Kitchen was well equipped, bed linens crispy white, pool right there. While we didn’t use them, they also have tennis courts. Having a car is a must. I’d even recommend driving to the beach (in October parking was not an issue) and then walking along the huge, expansive beach.

Towels and bed linen are featured in the holiday home. There is also a seating area and a fireplace. The outdoor facilities, especially the rooftop patio. Location was quiet at night. The grocery store was close and had a good selection (but watch the store hours as it closes at 7 pm and 1 pm on Sundays). The train station is a 7-10 minute walk. Downtown within 10-15 minutes. The beach can be reached by boat (our choice) or bus.

Beautiful property, photos don’t do it justice! Has everything you could possibly need and more. Lots of space and 2 minutes to the centre of the town. Supermarkets,shops and restaurants in the centre. Beautiful beach 1km walk and two more beaches 2km away. No need for a car. 30 minutes from Faro airport by Uber taxi. Shared swimming pool 30 metres.
