Apartment was very clean and had all we would need and more. The 2 balconies with views to the whole city were a huge plus, but the apartment itself is very spacious and clean. Had all we needed to cook and clean after ourselves. The host was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Will be back!

This holiday home features a private pool, a garden and free private parking. The holiday home has family rooms. Beautiful location, about 10 mins drive from Tavira, extremely peaceful surroundings. The house we had was great both in terms of the house itself and the beautiful private pool, but also in terms of the quality and tasteful furnishings. It had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday, including great mattresses, towels, cleaning supplies etc. And the common areas were also lovely, with a kids playground, bbq, and complementary beer. We were only sorry we could not stay longer. Definitely recommend.

The interior is tastefully decorated and all necessary amenities are available. Laurent is an excellent host always reachable and helpful. He shared a wonderful list of “things to do”, groceries and restaurants around the location. We could have breakfast outdoors even though it was December and enjoyed the sunshine with breakfast. The property was sufficiently heated with electric heaters.

Ancão Gardens is a private residential area located in the beautiful Ancão Village Resort, offering 13 luxurious villas for holiday rentals. There are 12 three-bedroom villas, each equipped with modern amenities and access to a shared pool. In addition, there is one four-bedroom villa with a private pool for guests who seek a more exclusive experience. This is a perfect spot for a family who is looking to be away from the busy tourist spots but still close to the beach and sightseeing destinations. Tucked away on a private street, the townhomes are multi level buildings, thereby giving teenagers, parents and grandparents enough privacy yet plenty of space also to be together. Kitchen was well equipped, bed linens crispy white, pool right there. While we didn’t use them, they also have tennis courts. Having a car is a must. I’d even recommend driving to the beach (in October parking was not an issue) and then walking along the huge, expansive beach.

The grocery store was close and had a good selection (but watch the store hours as it closes at 7 pm and 1 pm on Sundays). The train station is a 7-10 minute walk. Downtown within 10-15 minutes. The beach can be reached by boat (our choice) or bus.

Beautiful property, photos don’t do it justice! Has everything you could possibly need and more. Lots of space and 2 minutes to the centre of the town. Supermarkets,shops and restaurants in the centre. Beautiful beach 1km walk and two more beaches 2km away. No need for a car. 30 minutes from Faro airport by Uber taxi. Shared swimming pool 30 metres.
