This holiday home features a private pool, a garden and free private parking. The holiday home offers an outdoor fireplace and a 24-hour front desk. We wish we could have stayed longer! Natalia & Mario are the sweetest hosts and gave us such a warm welcome to their beautiful home! We very much regretted that we hadn’t booked a longer stay. The attention to detail and coziness of the house, the peacefulness and privacy of the garden, the smell of cut grass, trees and roses offer such rest and comfort. The location is perfect for exploring the villages of the area (Marvao, Castell do Vide, Portalegre..) or to make some of the many nature walks. The breakfast is just amazing: every morning they bring fresh bread that is left at the door, together with the homemade jam, sausages, free range eggs…the experience has been marvellous and we will return for another bit of heaven.

The house is very clean and stylish with Portuguese style. We have everything we need in the house. The beds are comfortable and the blankets are warm. We are very satisfied with it, it's just like a home. The host is very friendly and nice. The village, Beira is lovely and quiet. It's a good choice to stay there for exploring Marvao.

We liked a remote location, swimming pool and the jacuzzi, all for ourselves. Both buildings are quite unique and located in the middle of olive farm. Contact with the host was really good. There is no phone signal, but WiFi works really well. If somebody expects luxury rooms and modern facilities, it's probably not the right place. But we loved it, it's all very well maintained and clean.

If you want to spend some time close to nature with plenty outdoor activities for the kids and grown-ups, we can't recommend Monte da Contenda highly enough! Our son had a great time playing in the sand-box and trampoline together with Sarah and Bruno's amazing kids. We'll be back. Thank you for this wonderful time.

A private entrance leads guests into the holiday home, where they can enjoy some fruits and chocolates or cookies. I loved everything. The location and all facilities. The house is very clean and Mrs Fernanda is very nice and helpfull.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Outdoor dining is also possible at the holiday home. Great communication with host and staff. The beds were comfortable and queen size. Great location. Homey.

Casas da Estação is located next to the train station of Beirã – Marvão and has Marvão Castle views. Each of the air conditioned apartments includes a rustic décor and a private patio.

The apartments all include a recently-renovated kitchenette with a ceramic cooking hob. A seating area with flat-screen cable TV is also provided. Central heating is standard, and each comes with a bathroom with heated towel rails. The property features a small water reservoir. We’ve been going to Casas da Estação almost every year. We keep coming back. The property is beautiful, the staff is amazing and Beirã is just perfect.
