Lodge is clean and neat, furnishings are beautifully decorated and kitchen is well equipped. Although I checked in late, arrangement is well arranged. Everything, best hostel ever! So clever and comfy beds with lots of storage space, you have lot of privacy as well. Beautiful bathrooms, amazing kitchen and other facilities. Luxury!
In Mount Cook village are no possibilities to go out at night. This is why everyone in the hostel is gathering in the community areas and as a solo traveller you get easily in touch with other travellers. Very clean, very well equipped. Even offer blankets in case you get cold.
We really appreciated the upgrade from the small room we were expecting to the villa with so much more space. Thank you

Beautiful hotel in a brilliant setting with views of the snow covered mountains. The food was delicious & plentiful at all meals. Room was spacious, luxurious & clean.
The apartment was modern, had every comfort (luxury) and was incredibly clean. It had amazing views. It was close to town yet in a quiet location. There was parking directly out front. We had a fantastic stay for 2 nights and would love to stay again.
Nestled amidst picturesque scenery, the cottage exudes undeniable charm. Its tasteful decor, marked by meticulous attention to detail, invites you into a world of tranquility. What truly stood out were the New Zealand toiletries, adding a touch of luxury. The welcoming gesture of a bottle of red wine added a delightful touch.
Mt Cook is a remote location and this hotel is amongst the only ones there. We had booked a 2 bedroom villa - excellent views of the snow capped mountains, very friendly reception staff , easy to pick up keys even a little late, car parking in front of the villa. The house is well insulated , irrespective of the temperatures outside. Comfy beds, neat, clean , daily service provided . We didnt go to the restuarants so cant comment on those . The best was the jaccuzi -most relaxing after the trek.
This was a great place to stay. We were met on arrival by the very friendly host and shown the suite. Exceptionally comfortable and luxurious. Everything you could hope for was here (including a luxury bath tub!). The washer and drier for laundry was a great bonus and again worked well. The sofa was comfortable. The bed also very comfortable with the bedding also feeling very luxurious. Finally, the view! We sat outside on the terrace, looking at a beautiful garden with a fantastic view of Lake Tekapo beyond it. Amazing.
