We booked our short 2 night stay very last minute late the night before arrival and Ugo was free to pick us up from the train station. They kindly gave us a quick tour and lay of the land on our drive to the apartment and helped us with our bags into the beautiful apartment. Its exceptionally clean and very comfortable for a short stay but a longer stay would have been great to take advantage of everything. The rooftop balcony has amazing views and catching sunrise up there was epic and easy. The apartment had plenty of amenities we were able to do a small load of laundry, use the kitchen for a meal and relax on the couch. Taormina is beautiful and Ugo was one of the best host we've ever had anywhere in the world. He was even able to drop us off early in the morning back at the train station so we could have cafe together before saying goodbye. I fully recommend anyone looking to visit Taormina book this apartment. If you are arriving with your own car please be prepared for a proper Sicilian/Italian experience with no driving or parking close to the apartment and having to carry bags a distance and up stairs. Even if Ugo is not available to assist with every step its still worth it to reach this lovely apartment.

I am sure that Laura gives one of the best hospitality in Taormina. Our short story is that we had 3 days vacation in Taormina and originally we booked another apartment in Mazzaro which was terrible dirty and their host made the worst support and did not want to fix any of the issues. Then we decided to change to a new apartment and found Casa Cleone on Booking. Laura is a fantastic host, I asked the availability to check in earlier and she did the cleaning of her apartment as quick as possible and waited for us at the front of apartment 3 hours before the official check in. We got her direct phone contact if we may have any questions during our stay. She's a really fantastic host. The apartment is not so big but absolutely enough for 2 persons. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped. The atmosphere of the apartment is very friendly. The location is absolutely perfect to explore the old town of Taormina as it is located only 50 meters from the main walking street Corso Umberto, meanwhile the apartment is very quiet. We are sure to stay in Casa Cleone during our next vacation in Taormina.
