The host Matteo is a legend, he will go above an beyond to make sure you have a lovely stay and don't miss out on any of the Tuscany highlights. The lovely house itself breaths history but is also very comfortable and spacious (and spotlessly clean!). The restaurants right on the Castello's square are great, we tried two and loved both of them (reasonable prices too). Just strolling a couple meters down the medieval square to get home after some lovely evening wine is incredible.

The villa, very close to Montepulciano, was easy to find and provided a great retreat from which to visit the area. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. They helped us book dinner reservations, an on-premise massage, and a wonderful cooking class. The breakfast was delightful, and you couldn't have a nicer view of the Tuscan countryside. Pienza is a beautiful village, the Val d'Orcia is breathtaking. We were welcomed by Paola, who is a magnificent ambassador for the property, she really made us feel incredibly welcome. The restaurant was also excellent, we had a fantastic dinner. We came off season, (March) which added to the tranquility. I think you would come here to enjoy a quiet, peaceful retreat, and it is a nice base to explore the Tuscan wine region.
We loved everything about La Moscadella - the facility, the room, the food, the staff, the location and even the guests that we met while staying there! Isabella is a fabulous host, and Caterina was tremendously helpful when planning our days and visits to sites and villages in Tuscany. If (or when) we go back, we will definitely stay at La Moscadella again or one of Isabella’s other villas.

We were there for 4 nights for my daughters wedding and the location is simple breath taking. The balance between keeping historic character and providing clean and comfortable surroundings is just perfect. We had the castle and all the villas for our group with 2 infinity pools with world class views. Staff were amazing and to top it off we were in a winery with a wine bar.

The villa was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I would highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Tuscany.
This hotel was fantastic! The grounds are absolutely stunning. The pool overlooks a wine valley and you can see the hills of Chiusi and Montepulciano from the property. The breakfast was top notch. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I had the lovely experience of booking one of the private villas and it was so comfortable and chic.
