This is by far the most special accommodation we've stayed in during our 2 month trip through Malaysia and Indonesia! It was like living in a temple for a few days, not just because of the way it's been built but also because of the beautiful decorations both inside and outside. We loved having breakfast with a fantastic view all the way down to the sea! Barb and Dave did a great job building this place and on top of that they are lovely hosts. Our daughters loved playing with Lola, their puppy. The area is quite remote, but Barb was really helpful finding a driver for us so that we could make some excursions. We actually quite liked the remoteness, because it also meant staying is an authentic non-touristy area.

At the villa complex, the units come with a desk. The units are fitted with a private bathroom equipped with a shower and a hair dryer, while selected rooms here will provide you with a fully equipped kitchenette fitted with a fridge. At the villa complex, units have bed linen and towels. Lovely traditional Bali houses situated in rice fields, pool is good size and wuietly secluded. All the team was really friendly and helpful. Food was delicious! Even though there are many beautiful places in Bali, this was by far the best - nicely located, houses lovely decorated, impeccably clean and with great attention to sustainability (reusable water bottles, refillable natural mosquito sprays, soap etc).

The facility is beautiful and unique. Due to the size of the facility, golf buggies can be chauffeured around the clock. Our room was just perfect, spacious and the view was wonderful. The sunsets were the most beautiful in Bali. The best thing, however, is the incomparably attentive and warm staff. If you leave the room for breakfast, for example, the cleaning team comes in the meantime, and they clean again before you go to bed and you get new towels, small sweets, fresh fruit, etc. The breakfast menu is so huge that it's difficult to decide what you want want. And everything tastes really incredibly good. The excursions we booked were also very well organized and the guides were very nice and helpful. A very special thank you goes to the masseur and yoga teacher Wawan. He is a spiritual inspiration and didn't just do yoga with us, but gave us so many beautiful things for life. If someone is looking for wisdom a la "Eat-Pray-Love", then come to Munduk to Wawan instead of Ubud. Thank you Wawan for your light!
