The kitchen was well appointed and coffee was provided. It was a bit of a walk up the hills (recommend you use the donkey service both ways), but was so peaceful in the morning and during our midday rest. We were glad we were not “in town.” Loved sitting on the patio- especially in the evening. Our hostess was wonderful and could not be more helpful for all our needs. We loved this place. I was told that “Hydra is a vacation from your Greek vacation,” and this place had it all!

Spacious and comfortable with the necessary amenities while still feeling minimal and like we were in someone’s home. There is character and beauty in every aspect of the apartment. Great location, food and stores all around, a short walk to the port, also a great starting point for walks up the hills to explore the town. Dora is so friendly and kind, greeting us when we arrived, offering great suggestions for swimming and what to do around Hydra during our stay, and was always available if we needed anything, (which we didn’t, because everything we needed was already there).
