She was kind, helpful and caring beyond words. She was always checking on us, spoiling us with treats and making sure we had all we needed and more. The house is in a beautiful setting, you can see and hear the sea and enjoy stunning sunset from the balcony. You can enjoy silence and quietness while having all you need at walking distance: supermarket 10 min walk, bus stop 5 min, Skala -the main port- 30 min. The house was spotless, with everything you could ever dream of, it really felt like home. We were there in August, the busiest period of the year, and still we could relax and avoid the crowd. Agkistri is a beautiful island but we definitely owe to Maria and her place the unforgettable time we had there.

Simple and spacious accommodation with all the necessary features. Water bottles in the fridge were very welcome. Nice little balconies. Megalochori is a small village close to the sea. You can do it all by foot. There are local busses for other villages and beaches
The assiatnce by the staff was great, we forgot the room key and even at night (23:00) they were very responsive. Good location , far from the noisy village. Nice balcony to sit in the morning to have breakfast.

We absolutely love the pool. It's a great size and feels luxurious. The sunbeds are fantastic quality and very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and polite. The food is always delicious and a good portion size. The rooms are always clean and they have a proper fridge, not the usual cool cube which is brilliant. The balcony is just the right size for an evening glass of wine.

The place is newly renovated and the host is very friendly. It is very clean. The property is beachfront, but there are no beach beds. You would have to pay for them at a nearby facility. But the location is very quiet compared to the hotels near the port of Skala. All things considered, we would still choose this place.
Beautiful, refurbished original house in a small village. The house was very clean and the upstairs is a lovely place to spend time with the doors and shutters open, leading on to the terrace. Kitchen very well fitted out.
Apartment was so conveniently located at the beachfront and next to cafes, restaurants, shops and beaches. Also the port was within a walking distance. The room was clean, spacious and bathroom was super-nice! Extra points to the hotel manager for letting me have the room for extra hours! For other guests I would highly recommend the hiking trails that start right at the Skala village.
