Fantastic cottage in a lovely village making a great stop whilst walking the Great Stones Way. Hosts incredibly helpful and lovely pub across the road. Very comfortable and luxurious stay
Beautiful room above a lovely village pub. Amazing toiletries, comfortable bed, very quiet and fabulous breakfast. Can’t fault anything. The countryside around Ham is stunning and so peaceful.
Delightful Hotel in the heart of the village. The rooms had so much character as did the whole Hotel. Lots of stairs to walk up but staff helped with our baggage. The meals at the Hotel were exceptional as was the service from the staff. Would highly recommend. Parking close by was also very convenient.
Location was good just a short walk from village centre, also nice to have a parking bay, bathroom nice, bedrooms nice living room very poor
Very impressive accommodation. As a couple we’ve stayed in everything from a tent in the Andes, tenner a night rooms in Vietnam to luxury accommodation with private pools in expensive beachfront locales. Now having two young children our requirements for stays have changed, and Strides Barn was perfect. It would easily suit a group of 6 adults as well. Beautiful building and clean, it’s the perfect getaway location to explore the surrounding area of the new forest and Salisbury. It was so good we extended our stay by one night.
Wonderful Inn in a stunning village. The room was gorgeous and beds super comfy. The food fantastic and the pub was everything you'd want for a winter countryside retreat. I wish we'd stayed longer!
The hotel was beautifully decorated with excellent artwork and furnishings. The bar area was a joy to be in and was a fantastic setting for our delicious breakfast. Our room was comfortable and well designed and the bed felt luxurious and soft. Complimentary brownies added that extra level of hospitality. The premium soaps and shampoos from Bramley were a nice added touch and made us feel very spoilt. All in all a great stay with lots of touches of luxury. Would definitely stay again!
Luxurious, fabulous, fun, and contemporary are 100% accurate for this stay. Tanya is a lovely human who made our stay personable and relaxing. She even made us a reservation for dinner at The Royal Oak pub, which is only a 10-minute walk away. The atmosphere of the retreat is calm and zen. The bed was the most comfortable balance of soft and firm. Drifting off to the sounds of sheep in the field across the street was amazing.
a quaint cottage in a quiet village, a great retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. short drives to get to some of the places you want to visit. great location
Farmhouse is exceptional. Hosts are warm and friendly. The rooms in the Farmhouse and Glamping pods are all excellent, all with luxurious beds and linen and everything needed. Breakfast is also excellent. WiFi is available throughout. Edington is a lovely village in the heart of Wiltshire with a great pub within 5 minutes walk. I cannot fault Slades Farm. It will be my number 1 place to stay in the area and I look forward to visiting with my family for leisure in the future.
