Loved the views and the accommodation was really comfortable with everything you needed for a few days. Bed very comfortable. Ski Bar on site had good meals and lots of drinks choices and the staff were very accommodating. Very dog friendly. Try Riva Gelato just over on the campsite which has lovely ice creams to choose from. Easy to get to lots of different places from where we were. We were unfortunate enough to encounter almost a full day of heavy rain but the accommodation has a good TV with lots of channel choices so we were able to keep entertained when we couldn't get out. Communication with the owners was excellent. We will be visiting again.

Situated within 10 km of Askham Hall and 31 km of Derwentwater in Penrith, Honeysuckle Cottage & Whinfell Studio features accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The place was so close to the center, very quiet and perfect for our stay. The owners left some breakfast for us which was nice. Great communication and they checked on us to see if everything was ok. Wonderful stay.

Situated in Kendal and only 17 km from World of Beatrix Potter, Cosy country cottage with log fireplace and views features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. This recently renovated holiday home is located 36 km from Askham Hall and 39 km from Trough of Bowland. The property is non-smoking and is set 5 km from Kendal Castle. Beautiful house just out of town setting. Nice touches throughout the house including a hamper with goodies, fully equipped and a good guide with recommendations. Would stay there again in a heart beat if I was in the area.

A lovely cottage (actually a converted church) with an old exterior but modern and very spacious on the inside. We did not miss a thing for a very comfortable stay.
