Betws-y-coed
Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Maes Madog Cottages is a holiday home situated in a historic building in Betws-y-coed, 29 km from Snowdon Mountain Railway. Providing free private parking, the 4-star holiday home is 23 km from Snowdon. Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. The cottage had been beautifully converted and was lovely and quiet in the countryside. Everything was there, and some welcome treats for us as an added bonus.
Colwyn Bay
Just 5 minutes’ walk from Colwyn Bay Beach and less than 100 metres from Eirias Park, this self-catering cottage is set in its own grounds with free private parking. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. Beautiful, well kept house with an amazing hot tub. Loved that they had a large garden for my little one to play in. The owner was fabulous too, super accommodating and friendly. The location was good and nearby to the beach and Welsh mountain zoo. I can't recommend it enough!
Penrhyn Bay
Set in Penrhyn Bay, less than 1 km from Llandudno North Shore Beach and 4.4 km from Llandudno Pier, The Old Shop Cottage, Llandudno offers accommodation with free WiFi in a historic building. This holiday home provides accommodation with a balcony. The property is non-smoking and is located 23 km from Bodelwyddan Castle. Lovely view from the balcony, the hosts were very sweet and helpful and patient with our checkout time as we had a breakdown. There is a pub just opposite the cottage with a great atmosphere and gorgeous food.

We loved everything about the property. It was in a good location and a short walk into the beautiful village of Betws-Y-Coed. The room was well equipped and spacious. Martin, Pippa and Marian were wonderful, friendly hosts with lots of interesting and helpful local information. Nothing was too much trouble. The takeaway breakfast provided on our day of hiking was a perfect start to the day. Had a fabulous stay and will return. Would highly recommend this property.

The village is very beautiful. Lovely old buildings, set in woodland.
This is a perfect holiday cottage- beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a family holiday. Located in a small quiet village 10 minutes drive from Betws-Y-Coed, we loved that there were no tourists around. With 3 bedrooms there was enough space for us . The linen is beautifully selected. There’s a massive lawn at the back with lovely views of the mountains. One of the days with rain , we just stayed in and enjoyed all the board games in the cottage
Near the beachfront
Clean, pleasant and efficient service! Delicious breakfast and staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room had a pleasant view and we enjoyed the comfort of our bed. The towels were thick and luxurious as well as the bedding. In all a very pleasant stay.

Bunkhouse, is a private room with bunkbeds and electrical plugs.. perfect to lay your head for a night, def not luxury and not like a hostel either. but appreciated the privacy- food and reception times are not definite, so if travelling in the evening, I would aim to eat before you get there. location is ideal for hikers and outdoor, the village is very pretty. beautiful area of wales.
