I wanted accommodation close to the train station as I was taking an 07.00 train to Madrid, and LATROUPE couldn't have been better located..less than 30 seconds from the station, AND right on the major shopping street. This is a luxury hostel, it's beautiful and extremely comfortable with a lot of added extras too. I would definitely stay here if and when I come back to this fabulous city!!
Loved the villa and the beautiful views
Great location, especially when you travel by train. Only a stone’s throw from Abando (Renfe) and Concordia (FEVE). Right in the middle of everything interesting in Bilbao. Don’t expect a luxurious hotel. But it’s great value for money if you are a modest tourist.
Felt luxurious and comfortable
The hotel is situated in a great location, literally opposite the Guggenheim Museum, which is definitely worth a visit whilst you are in Bilbao. The breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant (half inside, half outside) and is fabulous. Rooms are really comfortable with top quality toiletries (we were upgraded to a junior suite which had Diptyque toiletries, very luxurious) - thank you!
The location was awesome , near the centre. The city part is so beautifully. The house looks like villa from fairy tale.
Mundaka is a great location to stay for holidays. Very close to friendly bars and restaurants. Good public transport services, so you are able to explore neighbouring villages and towns and of course Bilbao.
Top location, top condition and a luxury feeling
Only some footsteps away from the Guggenheim, not more than 20min along the river to reach the old town. Friendly and kind staff all around the hotel (reception, bar, cleaning staff). Modern and chique but not too much luxury. Room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast offers many options for every taste (fresh eggs and pancake included, vegan and gf options). Will definitely book again.
What an amazing property with the best panoramic view of the ever changing estuary.Exceptional owners with very quick attendance for any queries.We asked for more sun chairs and they arrived - boom! There’s a donkey living in the next field who comes over for an apple a day.You can walk to a rocky beach in 6 minutes and a sandy one in 15.We have stayed in about a dozen villas and this one sits at the top.Just try it.
