There are some useful tourist brochures in the living room, as well as board games (a big plus for families). The area is peaceful and quiet, the hosts are very nice and welcoming people. However, best of all is the garden. Beautiful greenery and anything that grows there is up for grabs for guests (we were there in raspberry season and loved picking the sweet and ripe raspberries). If you're lucky, the hens might even produce fresh eggs for you (they were being lazy during our stay). And, to save the best for last, there's the incredible view: towering mountains all around with Lago Maggiore in the background.

Beautiful view and location, traditional village house, friendly and helpful hosts, nice breakfast, comfortable, clean, and well-equiped property, quiet surroundings in the nature.
Nice staff, flexible approach. It is a hostel/camping so do not expect luxury. It is located quite close to the motorway at the Gothard tunnel, convenient if you need a stop over night. Great views, you can even make a short trips to the Alpin valley nearby.

Location along the way to Italy , nicely placed in the mountains. Outside of the hotel stands out in the village as very well maintained. Restaurant with great foods and very nice personnel.
We spent a week at Rustico and it was very peaceful. The location is great and the village adorable. Annadora is a great host and was always ready to assist us if needed it. We were very happy to use the pool and stay at the garden. The apartment also has everything you need. In overall we had a lovely week in the alps and we are looking forward to come back one day :)

Very nice and comfortable apartment in a little village. It had everything we needed and there was a public playground for the children right at the bottom.
A very nice and quiet place in a lovely little village on the mountainside. Our room came with shared bathroom but since we were the only guests we had it to ourselves. Room was very nice and comfortable. All in all we had a very pleasant stay.
