The comfort and serenity was outstanding. The swinging bed by the lake was so relaxing. Falling asleep to the Loon-song felt like magic. It was peaceful, incredibly clean, and good to replenish the spirit. The shower and bathrooms were amazingly clean. The owner was so friendly and knowledgeable about the area, sent us on a fantastic hike to Cape Split. Close enough to everything to enjoy local attractions, far enough away to shut out the bustle of the world.

The view is stunning, beds are very comfy and everything I needed was on hand. I only had one night and wish I had more so I will definitely stay here again!

It is a stunning location, and perfectly located beside the Highlands Village, with a view of the Bras d'or lake. Just lovely. The people were so friendly too!
Lovely location, very clean, easy drive to Peggy's Cove and Chester. Comfortable bed, great kitchen appliances available and received good guidance from the host on local villages and restaurants. The waterfront and canoes and paddle boards we, unfortunately, did not have time to enjoy but it would be a lovely add on.

The location within Baddeck is ideal for exploring the village and the Alexander Graham Bell centre. It is also a good place to start and finish a trip around the Cabot Trail.
View of the bay from the window/rear of room is simply stunning. Know of some 'luxury' hotels who would kill for such views!
Beautiful large room, luxury finishes
The location is wonderful over the waterfront and quite convenient to the town. We had a room with a lovely waterview. Linda was caring and attentive to our needs.This is a beautiful old mansion which we highly recommend.
