The homestay is easy to stay in because it is well thought out. It is not cluttered with Knick knacks.
I really appreciate the large fridge and the water purifier. I liked the showers enough that I took a picture of the digital display.
The housekeeper comes like clockwork twice a day to feed the dog. The dog warmed up to us by the end of our stay. It was comforting to have a little guard dog as I was traveling alone with my four kids. He really lights up and bounds when he sees the housekeeper as she is there to feed him.
The host went so far as to write us a note in Thai so that we could eat out with food allergies.
We walked every day for about an hour - to the beach, to Old Town, to the museum (which was closed). I wouldn’t walk to the temple in he hill again because it is a bit isolated. You just have to be aware of yourself and your surroundings.
The homestay was big enough for my family of five to get some schooling done, and I could wash our laundry in the washing machine and hang it out in the garden. The drying rack is on wheels. We sometimes took it inside to keep it out of the rain.
This AirBnB was so convenient, and the neighbors are friendly. I have a really sensitive cat allergy so I was a little nervous that I might react as the house is pet friendly. But, I need not have worried.
You are in good hands staying here. I saw other hotels in Songkhla, places with pools, or closer to the tourist track. I was never tempted because this homestay ticks all the boxes.
