Featuring quiet street views, Quinta Teoria - Teoria Guest House offers accommodation with patio, around 12 km from Natur Waterpark. This holiday home features a private pool, a garden and free private parking. When staying at the holiday home, guests can use private entrance.

If you want to see the Douro Valley - this is the place. The view from the balcony is amazing, also from the pool. The way to Pinhao village is the best of the area. I liked the village Celerios - so cute and quiet but with two cafes. There was also a great restaurant nearby (Quinta doPortal) with excellent food and wine. The beds were comfortable and we found the air-conditioning very helpful and the possibility to cool down in the great pool with this extremely hot weather we had. There was also some touristic and practical informtion on the area, some even in Polish! The palce is incredibly quiet and relaxing. There are some nice walking trails around to discover.

This house comes with a fireplace, sofa and flat-screen TV. The living area has glass doors opening onto the balcony.

The kitchen is well equipped and guests can enjoy their meals in the furnished patio.

The lodging is an entire house adjacent to the winery with outstanding view over the Douro valley. The owners were super friendly and made us feel welcome. Anna provided a tasting for us, allowed us to walk through the property and sample grapes off the vines. A 15 minute walk through the vineyard took us to Provesende, a beautiful village nearby. We were there during harvest time so, the owners’ son who is also the winemaker, allowed us to watch him stomping the grapes by foot which was an incredible experience. He also patiently explained his process to reach the best quality wine. Make sure to get up early and watch the sunrise over the valley, it’s quite special.

The spacious holiday home features 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with mountain views. Guests can take in the ambience of the surroundings from an outdoor dining area or keep themselves warm by the fireplace on colder days. The accommodation is non-smoking.

This was our favorite place we stayed during a two week vacation in Portugal. The hosts, Luis and Therese, could not have been kinder and more hospitable. The communication (in spite of the language barrier) was prompt and so accommodating of any request we had. The welcome basket was an abundance of wonderful local foods and such a special treat and pleasant surprise. The town is adorable and the views are to die for. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a special escape to the Duoro Valley slightly off the beaten path.

At Casa de Pena d'Águia, located in the heart of the Douro wine region, in the middle of the village, but in the midst of nature, we are enraptured by the perfection of the natural setting, with the surrounding mountains as far as the eye can see, the scenic terraced vineyards, punctuated of olive groves, and the Douro River in the background.

Location, decor, cleanliness, views, amazing breakfast and the staff. Carla was amazing!!

This is a beautifully renovated stone house in a small village with a mixture of occupied houses and ruins. The residents were very friendly! A short walk to an old school, church and beautiful views of the valley. Host met us at the door with the keys. He is renovating another building across the street so we learned a bit about what is involved in renovating a stone building.

The staff were very helpful and very friendly, they made us feel very much at home. We ate dinner on the premises on Sunday evening, which was very good. The vinery is in the village of Sabrosa, and it was pleasant going for a walk either in the village or around the neighbouring vineyards. There were also a couple of other restaurants nearby.

Everything was immaculately clean and in working order. The house is in a very quaint village with a lot of charm. The house itself is brand new and pristine. They even provided cheese, a bottle of wine, tea and coffee. We were very happy with our stay!
