The house has everything you need. It’s well kept, cosy and very clean. The two bedrooms were very handy with our big family.
Renate was super friendly, was always available and even helped us on our way to the cottage. He explained very well how to reach the cottage so we found it easily. I’m not a hero with the car so we parked the car in front of mira Serra (free parking). From there it’s approximately 5 min walk to the house (going down) and maybe double back to the car (going up). The view is amazing, it is a private and close to beautiful sceneries and viewpoints.
We only stayed one day so we booked a tour to make the most of it (we booked greenmangeres; friendly guide who adjusts his tours to his clients, we got to see some hidden gems of the area we wouldn’t have found on our own).
It was a great way to start our trip in Portugal.

We all really loved our stay at Villa dos Santos - the house is comfortable with lots of light and beautiful views of the surrounding hills and trees. The garden and pool were lovely to relax in after a day sightseeing. The hosts were accommodating and welcoming too. The house is located in a quiet location but with good access to some of the beautiful nature spots within this part of Gerês national park. I didn't really want to leave!
