What an amazing place this is!! Heather has poured so much love into making this property feel like a home. We have been traveling for 2 months now and Banda do Sol is still our favorite place we have stayed because it felt most like a home. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is INCREDIBLY well stocked, but it’s all of the tiny thoughtful touches to putting the room together that really shine. The property is beautiful as well, and we really enjoyed the garden. The location was excellent, in a quieter area of the island (still with plenty of restaurants within a short drive if you don’t want to use the kitchen) Heather is so kind and we loved hearing about her life and love for Madeira. Thank you Heather for a wonderful stay and we hope to be back in the future!

Nice location 400 meters above sea level. Beautiful view, calm surroundings. Several terraces to use. The host met us even though we arrived late in the night. The host were in contact with us to check if we had any specific needs. We were met with fruit from their own garden. The house was newly fully refurbished. The house was extremely clean upon arrival. The house and kitchen were very well equipped. We had a wonderful stay in this house, and can highly recommend it to others.

It’s clean, spacious and in a very good state. The swimming pool is fantastic and can be heated if needed. When we went it wasn’t very hot so we asked them to heat the pool and the water was such a lovely temperature after. Very big kitchen and comfortable living room. Very spacious bedrooms with large comfy beds. Each bedroom has their own bathroom. Large garden with terrace and beautiful view. Two cars can be parked on the driveway.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at King's House in Madeira, and I must say it was an amazing experience. This spacious house had everything I needed for a convenient and comfortable stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the host, Sonia. She was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of her way to provide suggestions on what to do in Madeira or to assist with any issues that arose. Her warm hospitality truly made a difference and added a personal touch to the overall experience. The location of King's House was also fantastic, especially if you have a car. It was just a short 10-minute drive away from a beautiful beach. Additionally, there were some local bars in the area, with one conveniently located on the corner. This particular bar offered cocktails for an incredibly affordable price of just 2 euros. For those seeking the best local cocktails on the island, I highly recommend visiting the Simple Bar. They serve the most delicious Nikitas and Ponchos. Overall, my stay at King's House in Madeira was truly memorable.I highly recommend this accommodation and cannot wait to return in the future.

Exceptionally clean indoors and out! The pool area is beautiful and private. You are quite close to a number of other properties but the screening is excellent. You have a local supermarket about 200m from the house and Calheta marina with its many restautants and a pingo doce is only a 5 min drive from the property too. We were really lucky with the weather and made the most of all the lovely outdoor furniture. There is a parking spot which belongs to the property.
