The owner was welcoming and was very responsive to messages.The house was beautifully renovated, with lots of original features but also all the modern features we needed. Great shower, lots of charging sockets, really effective air conditioning in all the rooms, and a large modern television. There was also another television in one of the bedrooms. The outside kitchen and dining area were perfect for relaxed evenings. The location of the house was within easy walking distance from the train station. We didn't hire a car during our stay, so used the train to travel to nearby lagos on one of the days. The beaches are walkable, but were too far for us to walk in the heat. The buses were regular, and the beaches were easily accessible by bus. The river was just at the bottom of the road. There were several outdoor eating places there, and it was a nice place to stroll in the evening. It was a short walk along the waterfront to the museum where we caught the water taxi across to Ferragudo. (I would definitely recommend visiting Ferragudo. It is a very pretty village with some nice eating places and beaches). There are also lots of boat trips to other destinations, including the benagil caves, leaving from the waterfront near to the museum.

This little house is stunning and Sally is an amazing host. Sally even picked me up at the airport! Thank you Sally! I loved the terrace in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. The Wi-Fi is very stable. The kitchen and the bathroom are well equipped. Sally even left me a little breakfast for the next morning in the fridge and a welcome wine. Wow. I had a great time. Sally is very carrying and thought about every detail. There is all you need.

A lovely comfortable villa and great facilities. We loved spending time at the main (big) pool which was a perfect temperature and there were plenty of sun lounges available.
The villa had everything we needed to self cater for the 2 nights we stayed so we could enjoy the serene environment and vineyard views.

Beautifully furnished and well equipped villa in a gorgeous setting overlooking the golf course. Everything perfect. The agency was responsive and quick to rectify a couple of minor things in the house.
We were a group of 8 adults friends meeting here for a school reunion and stayed at the 4 seasons villa,. We had an amazing time. Loads of space, it was like being in a castle, 6 huge bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 4 ensuite, great living space indoor and outdoor. We enjoyed great bbqs, well furnished kitchen, sauna and lot of fun with table tennis! The pool in the villa is a bit small but the shared pool was just 1 min walk and it was great, with beautiful views.

These villas have been well-built, using quality materials. It was a total pleasure to sit on the sunny patio, glass of wine in hand. The ones at the front are positioned so you get a lot of privacy from the other villas. The bed was very comfy and the self-check-in was very smooth and easy. Loved our stay - excellent value for money too. It's a lovely location and you feel very spoiled wandering the estate grounds through the art and vines.
I stayed in one of the 'The Vines' villas. The villa was really well decorated and comfortable. Loved the large bathroom, and the 'welcome pack'. It was great having a kitchen during my stay. The grounds are really nice, it's a shame I didn't have time to enjoy them during my stay, as I was out all day every day. But I'd happily return again with my family.
