The outdoor area out the back with the fireplace and the pizza over was great, we especially liked that it was covered with a clear perspex so we could use it when it rained. Also enjoyed the large indoor dining table.

For us the location was great as we wanted to visit the Sculptureum and Morris & James. Matakana Market was nice & local. There was a superb pizza place nearby for takeaway pizza.
