Hardangerfjord View is the perfect place away from home if you are looking for somewhere peaceful, quiet, and scenic. The house is beautiful, cosy, tastefully furnished, perfectly clean and fresh, and comes with all the amenities you could think of: fully equipped kitchen (including basic ingredients) where you can easily cook family-style dinners for 10 people, washing machine and dryer, underfloor heating in the bathroom, fireplace, outdoor grill and furniture, great lighting throughout the house, many seating areas, etc. Every little detail is so well thought out: from the comfortable bedding and high quality towels to the many books and the sound system around the house. You can really feel the love and attention in every corner.
Sarah is a truly excellent host; I have never met a host as responsive, well-organised, and gracious. From the welcoming message to the swift communication throughout our stay as well as the clear signage throughout the house, you never feel lost but genuinely well looked after. You will also find ample and incredibly well structured information about the many things you can explore around Hardangerfjord. Great view, great location; very friendly and accommodating hostess; easy conversation and great tips for activities during our stay; We were there for 5 nights and only used part of the large holiday home. It was clean, tastefully furnished and everything you needed during a stay was there, including sunny weather with temperatures sometimes exceeding 30°C 😀😎 Unforgettable for us: the armchair and the view of the lake and the mountains from the large living room window, the kitchen window and of course from the terrace. It was out last minute booking, because other place was cancelled, we booked this one because of lack of other options in the area, but it turned out to be absolutely exceptional place, at the top of the hill with stunning view of the valley and mountains and amazing sunsets!

The location was lovely - right outside the Jondal ferry dock so we could carry on towards Bergen really easily. Lovely walks and I know a few walking trails also start there. The garden has a lovely cherry tree and is right on the little river. Lots of different coffee machine options which was great!
