Desert Hills Lodge is a great choice to visit Deavlei, although its a half hour drive to reach the gate of Sossuslvlei. The rooms had breathtaking views especially during the sunset. Luxurious bathroom and comfy bedroom promising a top notch stay.
The atmosphere around the pool, with the luxury chairs and desert meeting you eye is amazing!!! The rooms are absolutely well equipped with all necessary items and the lay-out is excellent.
The staff is more the professional and extremely helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was excellent and so was the venue where it was served.
I liked everything about this place. I don’t have much to add. This place is better than any images you see. The luxury at this place is exceptional. All of my praises of this place will not do it justice. A must visit & stay. This place only had 2 nights available when I booked so I only stayed 2 nights. I would’ve liked to stay longer. There’s room for improvements but this place overall is very beautiful🥰❤️
We loved our stay at Hoodia. The property is beautifully designed and even more beautifully situated. The lovely pool was a very welcome respite from the heat of the desert. Paulus was a great guide for sundowner and our excursion to Sossusvlei. The food was tasty, healthy and fresh and we especially loved our luxurious picnic under the trees in Sossusvlei.
Excellent location, lovely food, luxury tents although there was a lot of noise during the night because there was a sandstorm during out stay (lots of wind). Very friendly staff and great setting, lovely desert views, would definitely stay again!

We Kebi safari lodge is set in beautiful surroundings with savanna and mountains surrounding. There were lots of animals including rhinos at the waterhole next to the restaurant and bar. It was really special to sit at the terrace bar with a drink, watching the sunset and the animals at the waterhole. The rooms were luxurious, spacious and clean. Our "hut" was far away from everyone else so it was really private. The set menu dinner was amazing.
