Absolutely wonderful. Just sorry we were only there 1 night. Ideal accommodation to get down to Victoria Resevoir for the seaplane or if you are a golfer.
Lovely gardens with a very clean swimming pool, steam and sauna and also a jacuzzi.
Location, room, food and all those we interacted with on site were exceptional.
We were well looked after by the chefs Mr Anoora and Mr Benidict and also by barman/waiter Ayesh.

We stayed in the villa for two days on Poya-day during the Perahera. The house is magnificent, in a beautiful park/garden, with a lot of authentic details, with al modern comfort. The owners are a wonderfully welcoming couple and the staff are very friendly and helpfull. A short (15min) ride to Kandy, but very calm, surrounded bij nature, it Made for a relaxing stay, after the excitement of the festival. We had the best breakfast, the lady of the house made waffles and even, for tea, donuts for our children. Upon discovering our daughters’ love for avocado, they went picking fresh ones in the garden, as well as passion fruit, for a snack on the road!

We had an incredible stay here. The highlight was a Sri Lankan cooking classin their outdoor kitchen looking out over the rice paddy fields while talking to chef and one of the owners. It felt really personal and was really nice to understand more about Sri Lankan cuisine. A really lovely place to stay. Highly recommend.

We loved the overall stay! There was a warm welcome. The view was amazing. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We appreciated the comfortable bed and the amenities. The breakfast was also appropriate for a yoga retreat. The kayaking added to the relaxing experience. We spent our honeymoon night there and it was beautifully set up. The bunch of flowers at the welcoming was definitely a sweet gesture which we appreciated a lot. Just what we needed that night :)

The team, including Milan and Chef Kevin, were amazing and they made our stay at The Glasshouse Victoria so memorable. The meals were outstanding with a lovely mix of Sri Lankan and Western food. The villa itself is clean and spacious and has a great pool. The views are magical and you can even spot some great wildlife - we saw some giant squirrels and hornbills while there! Without a doubt it is the nicest villa we have stayed in in Sri Lanka. Don’t hesitate to stay here!
