The village area was very relaxed and quiet, sometimes I could even see monkeys right from the hammock on the porch. Great thing about the house is that it has a kitchen and you can make fruits for breakfast and you dont alwahs have to go out. The owner of the house is a very helpful person, he even helped me organize the following trip. Also he put there a bike, which is very handy when you want to go to a beach, beacause you dont always have to pay for tuk tuk. For me it was the best possible value for money in this area.

The hotel is perfectly placed, right by the centre og arugam bay, but still quiet at night and the beach is only minutes away by foot. We got upgraded for free, and the room was really nice. The straff was very helpful and arranged a Safari for us. We ended up extending our stay here.

The rooms are very comfortable and the staff was AMAZING. Cooked us delicious food and breakfast, did our washing and was super attentive. The villas are outside Arugam Bay and it is a much quieter vibe than the busy Arugam Bay. We preferred it like that, maybe for some people the location will be a problem.
