If you like peace and love nature, this house is for you. The host is very helpful and we spend a great time at the end of summer. You can spend evenings on the large terrace and enjoy nature. The terrace has a sun roof which is not in the photos and it really helps in the hot periods. A car is highly recommended if you want to visit this place and consider that it is a house in the mountains.

We stayed 5 nights at Maria's Peaceful Place and we really enjoyed it. The apartment is brand new, very clean and every detail has a lovely vintage style (from the colors of the walls to the owen). We had breakfasts and dinners in the garden, with the company of Maria's pets. There is a washing machine and the bed is very comfortable (we slept very well!). Maria is friendly and ready to provide recommendations. She also invited us to her birthday party, making us feeling included. The position of the place is great to reach turisitic locations (20/30 minutes less than departing from Chania city center) and it's less than 10 minutes to go to Chania (you can park just at the beginning of the city center). Hope to visit again!

Very kind and friendly host. He had amazing playground for kid with small kid house, trampoline, and own small garden with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, watermelons and melons.
The house is great: comfortable beds, pillows, fully equipped kitchen, a baby coat and chair.

Wow, the apartment is stunning! Close to the Venetian Harbour, bars and restaurants. Finished to a very high standard. You don't really need to take any toiletries with you as everything you could possibly need has been provided. A nice big bowl of fruit and bottle of wine were waiting for us too. Highly recommend this place!

We loved the village of Therisso and our lovely welcoming host Maria. At 40 Euro per night we were not expecting anything flash. The room.was big and well appointed with a lovely balcony. Be aware that Therisso is a lunch destination for people on the coast so everything shuts down at 6pm
Lovely house in amazing rural area. Great pool with fantastic views and a pool house with barbecue. Walking distance to 5-6 tavernas in the village of Theriso. Fab drive through the gorge to get from Chania to Theriso. About 25 minutes drive to Chania or the beaches of Platanias and Agia Marina.
Beautiful traditional house with wonderful mountain view and a private very clean swimming.
Nearby villages Meskla, Zourva, Drakona worth visiting! All local tavernas offer tasty dishes and people are very welcoming.
Many thanks to the owner of the villa who was available for us at all times and all the gifts we received (eggs, cheese, wine, fruits, bread...). We should have stayed longer than 1 week.
The house actually exceeded our expectations. It was clean, comfortable, very spacious and had many amenities. The host was very kind, helpful
and friendly. The fireplace made a great atmosphere and in general had many traditional things inside. The beds were comfortable and the place was hot and had hot water too. You can also take a walk at the village and see the perfect view from the balcony. We think it was value for money so it's highly recommended.
