The flat is equipped with all things needed, shower gel, hair dryer, French press, tv, air condition, … There are two options to sit outside and we enjoyed having breakfast in the shadow of a tree. At our arrival the host spent some fruits and cool Drinks :-) We really enjoyed the silence in the mountains, only thing you hear are goats, sheep’s, crickets and sometimes a dog.

It was our first visit to Villa Kastania and Crete and our stay couldn’t have been better. We enjoyed every moment in this beautiful house and the magnificent place near the mountains. The home reflects the character of the owners: they are beautiful and welcoming people and they make their guests feel at home immediately. The house is very well equipped and even on a rainy day it’s comfortable to remain inside. In the huge garden there are several places where you can enjoy the view on the olive trees, mountains and the see. We hope to go back soon, because we really fell in love with this place and we look forward to meet Maria, Christos and Marianne again. Thanks for the delicious pastitsio and apple pie you prepared us but most of all we would like to thank you for kindness and friendship!

We had perfect holiday in this wonderful accommodation surrounded by olive trees forest, 20-25 min. drive from Chania. The villa is located in the hills and you must have a car to reach it, but luckily there are many affordable rent a car opportunities on Crete. Excellent opportunity to explore the small villages in the area and all beautiful attractions of the Chania region and Rethymno.
