I will not describe anything here, just not to spoil an excitement of the first impression. This is the place that makes you feel as part of Cretan magnificent nature. You have all for a full relaxation. Every detail, every touch in this villa is done with love and passion. Quaint and a little quirky, very quiet & private, excellent location and superb home cooked breakfasts in lovely sunny courtyard. Best of all was our lovely welcoming host, Vallia. It was so lovely to meet her and we will recommend Tulip House very highly to our friends.

The villa is absolutely perfect in every way. Spacious, spotless, well equipped (washing machine, AC in every room including living room, jacuzzi, nice pool long enough to swim, fast WiFi, etc), its location is ideal, at a 10 min walking distance from the large beach of Plakias, with a supermarket and bakery at 3 min. You can wonder at the marvelous sunset every night from one of the balconies (see photo) while enjoying the privacy and absolute quietness the villa offers, being away from the main street. The villa and pool were cleaned daily, and the cleaning lady ensured that we did not miss anything during our stay. She was very nice and respectful of our privacy. Our host Giorgos was an honour to Cretan hospitality, welcoming us with a nice bottle of local wine and traditional (homemade!) 'raki', he was available at any time and provided generous recommendations for the best spots to visit and restaurants to try in the area. Ευχαριστώ πολύ for making our stay so special Giorgos, we will definitely come back!

Wonderful location surrounded by olive groves and mountains, with a lovely pool. The two villas have been thoughtfully designed to give privacy to each villa, and are set in spacious grounds. The views from the house are beautiful. It takes just 15 minutes by car to reach Rethymnon, or to reach Plakias and some of the south coast beaches. The village has an excellent bakery with attached supermarket and fresh fruit and vegetables and an excellent taverna. Spili, with cash machine(s), supermarkets, tavernas and cafes is just a few minutes drive away. The house is comfortable and spacious and has dishwasher and washing machine and lots of hot water. The WiFi is good. If you like cheese, there’s the added bonus of an excellent shop selling locally made cheese just a few paces from the house.
The stone-built Efrosini country villa-Anesis family is located in Kamilari. The air-conditioned accommodation is 2.3 km from Phaistos and 3 km from Komos, as well as 65 km from Heraklio Town.

Every evening we ate different delicious Greek dishes at Vrachos Villas. We enjoyed the many beautiful beaches nearby. Great snorkeling beaches with many fish and beautiful reefs can be found within 20 min. drive!

I'm definitely coming back
This is a very special and unique place. Sure some of the furniture could be renewed or rearranged, the kitchen was old-style yet functional. Don't come here if you want a mojito-party-all-included vacation.
Villa Sissi has some how managed to escape mass tourism, it's really great for forgetting about the world and just going back to simple life but with an idyllic scenery surrounding you.
Great, small "village" of about 10 unita, good sized pool and friendly, familiar atmosphere. Let "mama" cook for you in the evenings for a relax end of the day!!
