The landlord had double booked and we didnt get to stay here. He did put us in another house in a nearby village which was ok but not what we booked. We were still charged full price, booking.com told us to contact the landlord directly to complain about this. The landlord has not replied so we have been left very disappointed.

The patio with gate was perfect for our dog to leisure on during breakfast and dinner
The pool with booking times was amazing as it was not over crowded.
Love the multitude of eating and kids entertainment pretty much a private beach.

Lovely little Welsh village full of friendly people. The pub was excellent with good beers and superb food. Excellent location for visiting Aberystwyth and the Vale of Rheidol Railway, the west Welsh coast, Strata Florida Abbey and for walking the Cambrian Mountains. We were looked after so well by Niall and Olivia and Rachel behind the bar.
My room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I ate in the pub downstairs where there was a choice of freshly prepared pub food. The hotel is situated in a small village within easy distance of Strata Florida Abbey and Cors Caron NNR and beautiful countryside.
This is a pub in the small village of Pontrhydfendigaid, aka "Bont", popular with the locals. Ample car park. There is a warm and friendly atmomphere here. It is well placed to visit Strata Florida abbey or go walking in the nearby hills or see the Cors Caron nature reserve.
Loved the bedroom - a modern roof conversion but very attractive. Pontrhydfendigaid is a lovely village and ideal for exploring this beautiful area. Friendly and helpful staff.
