Excellent property. Easy to find and good access to Otterburn itself and Woodhill Hall wedding venue nearby. Excellent kitchen facilities with everything we could possibly need. A member of staff met us with a key as organised. It was lovely to find milk and eggs provided in the fridge. Beds were very comfortable and there was lots of hot water. All in all we had everything we could want.

Breakfast was absolutely lovely! Good selection, good ingredients, cooked very well! Avril is just fab! Location was good, a quiet village setting, sheep and horses out on the field in front. Local pub, The Bay Horse, was lovely and welcoming, good pub grub. Noddy the dog was gorgeous - many fusses to be had there! Many local places to explore, Alnwick just up the road, Rothbury and Morpeth - lovely towns with great variety of shopping/restaurant options. Even the weather didn't dampen our spirits! All round great!
Avril was a great host, welcoming and helpful. She made us very generous breakfasts both mornings! West Woodburn is a small village but there was an excellent pub just around the corner which kindly gave us a discount as we were staying there. Yellow House is a great choice if you're looking for a peaceful place to stay in Northumberland. Would definitely recommend!
