Location was reason for booking. In same village as friend's house; I had come for a funeral. She had arranged a family dinner (in which I was included) that evening after the ceremony & reception. Very nice service from the young waiter.

Very friendly and helpful staff, busy pub atmosphere. The food is excellent with great service, and a good menu selection to meet all needs. It's in a small village north of Waterlooville, with main roads not far away.

Lovely village pub in a good location close to A3. The room was basic but had all the key facilities including TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was very clean and the bathroom had a good shower. It was quiet and I slept well.
