We stayed in the Villa which was is outstanding. Antonia gives excellent recommendations for the area and places to eat and drink. Charlestown is an excellent place to stay and the villa was in the heart of Charlestown.

Quillet Cottage was well equipped with a relaxed homely feel. Location perfect for exploring the coastline and beaches and Pentewen itself is nice and quiet even though there is a holiday park on the beach.

It's a lovely location on the side of a hill, slightly difficult to find and locate the parking space but we got there! Also I hadn't realised that the entrance was either via a slope or by steps, which was fine with me but not so great for my friend who has mobility issues. I didn't notice anything on booking.com about access. I was pleased to find a bungalow with no internal steps. We loved the view out of the patio doors across the valley, the sound of the trains, the peace and quiet. Every room was clean and well-prepared with clean linen and towels. We had a very comfortable stay. Thank you.

Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Breakfast- provisions provided, as stated, perfectly adequate for us to cater for ourselves.
Village shop- well supplied and very welcoming.
Pub- good food and sense of community , welcoming.
Locality of Cosy Retreat, perfect for our stay, Fowey was quaint and beautiful.
Lovely cottage very comfortable and warm and cosy. Excellent facilities very clean and beautiful interior. Comfortable beds and convenient position the village. Parking was easy always somewhere to park and a very helpful host who provided some local produce as a welcome pack. Would definitely stay here again
The cottage is very nice with all facilities. There were plenty of supplies (food and cleaning) which was fantastic, topped by a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Design of furnishings etc is all very coherent, cosy and tasteful.
Location is great with excellent cycling infrastructure (hilly of course) and nice beaches and villages close by.
