Spotless when we walked in and our wee dog settled in straight away, she loved it.
I was down from Ayrshire to bowl at Stranraer Bowling Club and also entertain there at night.

Little Ireland is a gem of a property, a great find for us and our 2 dogs who were also right at home here. The house is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean (we would easily have believed we were the first people to have stayed due to the high standard of maintenance). The lovely hosts really have thought of everything, providing all we needed for a fabulous stay. They were also so helpful and when we messaged with a query they replied with an answer straight away. There was so much space for us all and we had a fabulous time (also really enjoyed a lovely meal in Papa Rab's!) Thank you for a great stay, we wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Lovely clean, very well equipped house. The quality of the interior finish was great. We loved the nice little touches such as the milk in the fridge as well as the bottle of fizz and the chocs. The summer house looked brilliant but in September by the time we got back it was a little too dark and cool to make use of, but in the summer it would be fab. Would recommend to anyone. Our apologies to the cleaning staff for our tardy checkout but they were very polite and forgiving. Would book again with out hesitation.

Lovely large villa. Excellent front room dual aspect overlooking the loch. Room was large with a super king bed. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, cereals,fruit and different berries, yogurts and hot options as well. This breakfast set you up for the day. When we visit Stranraer again we would certainly rebook.
Jo who seems to be the host was wonderful. The breakfast which was cooked by Sam was beautiful.
Our room was so lovely and exceptionally clean. Outside of that the village itself was so loverly and quiet.
This is a very classy guest house ... the welcome was warm, the room (along with bathroom) huge and very tastefully furnished. Set in a nice quiet village around 10 mins from Stranraer and another 10 mins to the Irish ferries ... you won't do better elsewhere
Comfortable rooms, clean, quiet, relaxing and beautiful views. It felt like luxury, hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. Adequate parking and great location.
Couldn't fault the stay at Coyles Retreat. Agnes went above and beyond with the service she provided on arrival to the accommodation. The place was spotless and came with all the facilities you could need. I will definitely be back, and I would recommend everyone to go there for a stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Bev is a great host and very friendly and approachable.
Stunning surroundings. Ample of supplies in the cottage, well equipt kitchen. Super comfortable bed, lots of space in the cottage and the garden. Defiantly found our continuous re visits with this property and village. Early check in was made possible and late check out was offered due to being vacant after our departure. Can't say enough about the place. Garden is very secure for large dogs which is what we struggle with when looking.
Location was fantastic beautiful views from the property good cycling and walking from the property also having the great little private beach within close walking distance from the property to fish from sadly no fish should have fish more.
Having the wonderful fishing village of PortPatrick so close was fantastic.
The hosts Kay and Ian were very helpful .
The cottage was in a beautiful, tranquil location and well positioned to visit places of interest such as Logan Botanic Gardens, Castle Kennedy Gardens, the Mull of Galloway with its fabulous cliffs and lighthouse and local coastal villages like Portpatrick. It was also a very easy journey into the Forest of Galloway and the Galloway mountains and Loch Trool.
The cottage was spotless and extremely well equipped and the hosts were friendly and helpful.
