Location was fantastic, quiet & off road, but easily accessible to amenities
Very clean & really well equipped
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
The Fox & Hounds was a local hub in a small village that gave the sense of the English countryside without being too busy or insincere. We really enjoyed the authenticity and the excellent food. Also, the most comfortable beds in England!
Beautiful location in the pretty village of Starbotton. Large comfortable bedroom and bathroom (with a bath). Free on-site parking. Lovely garden where we had breakfast outside with views of hills and trees. Good food. Lovely friendly owners. Lounge if needed. Very good pub across the road with excellent food.
Amazing to stay in a 400 year old cottage, beautifully restored by the owners, who cooked a delicious full breakfast and delivered it to our dining table in the morning. It is situated out on a beautiful old and quiet village on the Yorkshire dales. Snacks were provided and the cottage set out beautifully.
The room was fantastic - nice and clean. Comfortable beds and a warm shower - the breakfast was also excellent! Great location and the village of Starbotton is lovely.
This is a beautiful cottage in a gorgeous village. We had a really lovely stay here, everything was very comfortable and we enjoyed the bathtub after a day walking on the Dales Way. The breakfast was superb and very generous! We had dinner at the Fox and Hounds nearby - excellent food and ales and very cosy. This accommodation is highly recommended and a must stop over if walking the Dales Way or hiking in the area.
Big, new bathroom with large cubicle and powerful shower. Comfy beds, plenty of drawer and cupboard storage, new soft carpet upstairs. Well equipped kitchen, large television and comfy sofa. Next to the pub for lovely meals. Super friendly staff. All in a secluded, quiet pretty village. Very happy overall.
Perfect location for walking the South Yorkshire Dales, good parking. Spacious property … big bedroom, own lounge, able to dry wet clothes if necessary. Wonderful breakfast. …. Huge …. Perfect for walkers. Lovely friendly couple running the B&B, great fun, and nothing was too much trouble. Three excellent pubs nearby, one 2 minute walk, two 2 miles away in neighbouring villages
Lovely little inn in a quiet village in the Yorkshire Dale's. Great friendly staff always wanting to help, the pub its self is a old style pub full of character then the rooms a modernised which was a nice touch.
Couldn't rate the food enough, properly cooked, big wholesome portions, and the breakfast was cooked to perfection for me.
