The time they took to greet us and explain how things worked was much appreciated. They were also very generous in the provision of absolutely everything we needed, including items such as dishwasher tablets which you would not normally expect. The welcome basket was full of delicious, luxury goodies many of which were produced locally. Orchard Cottage can be highly recommended, it is certainly the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in and we had a wonderful time.

Absolutely loved the place, it was super cosy, had everything we needed and more. Great facilities. I don't think the listing really does the place justice, it's plenty big enough for 2 people and has lots of cool and interesting art and furniture. The kitchen is small but big enough and well equipped for what we needed. Shower was good. Underfloor heating was amazing after coming in from long hikes. Very quiet especially at night, was able to sleep very well, bed also very comfortable.
